Went to clean when I got home and couldn't get the takedown pin out. Decided to pull down further and the spring under slide lock mech. Was not attached.Devil in the shade. Take the gun and Pull back the slide and start drying firing it. Then Push the slide forward while dry firing it a number of times. This should work. Also do the same procedure with a mag in. Keep trying this and it should release. This is a common issue.
